I teach AP Physics and most of my students come to me when mechanics starts to feel too abstract. I studied physics at university and have been tutoring for six years, mainly online. We spend a lot of time on free-response questions, diagrams, and getting the explanation right, not just the number at the end. I especially like teaching rotation and electric fields because those are usually the units that turn things around.

Hi, I’m an AP Physics tutor with a background in mechanical engineering. If a student is stuck, I’d rather work through one good problem properly than race through five. I teach both algebra-based and calculus-based physics, but circuits are probably my favourite topic.
